A delegation from the Chinese Anton Oil Global Company / branch of Iraq visited the Department of Petroleum Technology on Monday, 22/06/2015. The delegation was welcomed by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saleh AlJawad and his Scientific and Administrative Deputies as well as the Head of the Petroleum Engineering branch.

The visit aimed to employ the department graduates in the company belonging to the branches in Iraq due to what the company found of sophisticated capabilities and possibilities in the department and the university and to enrich the company's with engineers who have the competence and experience because of its great yield on the oil industry in Iraq, which in turn reflect positively on the country.

The Chinese Delegation was briefed on the department labs where they expressed admiration for what attributes of the hardware and software are used by laboratories during the educational process, and then the delegation went to the training and workshop center where they were briefed on the machines and equipment that students are trained with.

The delegation was accompanied during their visit by the Minister of Oil, expert adviser Dr. Abdelali Aldbaj.

It is worth noting that Anton Company has made several visits to the Department and the University, which in turn expressed their welcomed and its willingness to cooperate in all fields to serve the teachers and students.
