In order to activate the terms of understanding memorandum which signed between the petroleum technology department /university of technology and the research and development oil center/ ministry of oil. A delegation from petroleum technology department visit the center on Thursday, 5/1/2012 by each of the member of the association (Dr. Asawer Abdul Rasul) the scientific associate and (Dr. Raad M. Wafur Abdul Razzag) chief of oil production branch and (Miss. Waffa Abd AL kathem)  director of laboratories.

On the sidelines of the visit a meeting was held with (Dr. Mohammed Nasser Hussain)

The coordinator of the understanding memorandum represented by the oil center of research and development where they discussed a number of things to activate the program of field visits for the students and facilitate the task of getting the projects and scientific books that serve the oil sector, and activating the joint scientific research between the parties as is the willingness of petroleum technology department In contributing to the scientific committees and preparations for the second Iraqi conference on oil and gas that the center hold it in November 2013 In a related development, has been discussed developing a program of lectures and seminars during the second semester begins with a shared panel discussion hold in the University of Technology / petroleum Technology Department, hosted by the Director of R & D oil center (d. Kareem Abdul-Hassan Alwan),

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of petroleum technology department thanked management of research and development oil center for this cooperation
