Petroleum Technology department at the University of Technology held a joint meeting with the delegation of the Iraqi Drilling Company in the Oil Ministry on Thursday, 16/2/2012 at the Hall of the department to discuss a proposal of oil memorandum understanding between the department of petroleum and the Iraqi Drilling Company in the presence of scientific assistant to the President of the University. D. Mohammed al-Ani, Head of petroleum technology department  Ass. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sukkar, a number of teachers in the department and from the drilling company side seinor engineers Mohammed Enad.

the Iraqi Drilling Company seeks bounding the scientific part of the company with the academy side of University and complete join studies involved in the drilling industry: In the area of ​​training , organizing conferences, seminars, and implement  that through the applied experience.

The meeting included four topics: (Students for undergraduates study), (Future cooperation in the field of graduate studies), (Scientific Research), (Common seminars and conferences).
