Quality Assurance and performance of university at petroleum technology department

Petroleum technology department Organized In collaboration with the Department of Quality Assurance and performance in university of Technology  Lecture on Quality and Accreditation on 24/4/2012 and on conference hall in the department.

 Dr. Wafa Mahdi Saleh, the director of quality assurance said in her lecture which aims to educate employees of the petroleum technology department and educate them for all the concepts of Quality and Accreditation Contexts according to the work of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the light of the criteria ((ABET Accreditation for Engineering and Technology Quality is the right thing to perform properly the first phase of which aims to improve and develop the educational process.

On the other hand, commended Director of Quality Assurance on the role of the petroleum technology  department during his performance in order  to get to the reliability because its new department and all the detail is  subject to the standards of quality and academic accreditation

the most important recommendations of the Lecture:

•        Be a common work in which all parties interact (head of the learning process, faculty and administration, students)

•        benefit from the experiences of universities and colleges in this area as an experiment of Basra and Baghdad University / College of Engineering algorithm

•        Talk to institution (ABET) after the completion of what the department and the university's obligations to inform them of the desire of the university engineering programs in  adoption of engineering program
