Petroleum Technology Department’s Table Tennis Team Participate in the Universities Table Tennis Championships

The Department’s team competed in the championships against the Control Systems Engineering Department on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at the university arena and landed a 5-2 victory. In spite of the team’s non-seniority they still managed to create underdog presence mostly due to the coach captain’s (Issam Necet) enthusiastic approach to the game. He goes the extra mile to create cooperation and harmony amongst the team members, an effort that is highly appreciated by both the department and the players.

The team included the students Salwan Saham, Ali Haidar Hashim, Raed Hassan, Hommam Ala, Mohammed Abdul Karim, Ali Hamid, Abdel-Rahman Aref, Ali Saad, and Zaid Sami.
