The New Technology in Oil and Gas wells Drilling in a Scientific Seminar

     The Petroleum Technology Department organized a scientific seminar entitled “The New Technology in Oil and Gas wells Drilling” presented by the chief engineer Sameer Shakir Tahir / IDC (Iraqi Drilling Company) on the conferences room with the presence of the head of The Petroleum Engineering branch Dr. Raad Al-Khalisy and the administrative assistant Dr. Ramze Sayhood with many of the departments members and third stage students.

     In the beginning, Dr. AL-Khalisi welcomed the lecturer for his presence and bearing the travelling burdens in order to make students understand the working field parts, drilling equipment, safety, blow outs of wells, environmental pollution and the new technologies related to these branches .The seminar witnessed a great participation from the students and the lecturer.

    At the end of the seminar, Dr. Al-Khalisi handed Mr. Sameer a certificate of appreciation for his great efforts delivering these important information to the department’s students.
