Department's Students Participation in the Second Scientific Youth Sovereignty Festival

     Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports, Engineer Jassim Mohammed Jaafar, The  Ministry of Youth and Sports / scientific Welfare Department / Department of talent and scientific creations and in collaboration with the Technology University, held the second scientific  youth sovereignty Festival on Thursday, 03/28/2013 at the University Theatre. The festival was attended by Director General of the Department of Scientific care in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Professor Ihsan Mohsen Al-Bayati and university president assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and heads of departments (including Dr. Muhammad Al-Jawad) and a group of university professors and employees.

    The festival included presenting the university students' projects and Scientific Questions Competition among university students from various scientific departments. Mr Ahmed Razak Suhail, a student of the petroleum Technology department participated in the competition of scientific questions as a representative team for university students. Mr Suhail and Ms. Aliaa Mahmood Ali won the second place by displaying posters and scientific models and shades of fossil excavation.

    At the end of the festival, Professor Ihsan Al-Bayati and the Scientific Assistant,  Dr. Mohammed Al-Ani distributed cash prizes to the winning students in the festival competition.
