(The Department of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology grants MA degree about (Optimal Design and Implementation of Fuzzy Logic _PID Controller Based on a Microcontroller

The Department of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology granted MA degree to the student (Ahmed Faisal Ghalib), specializing in computer engineering, for his research entitled (Optimal Design and Implementation of Fuzzy Logic _PID Controller Based on a Microcontroller)

On the conference room in the section.

The discussion committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Hazem Ibrahim Ali / Chairman.
  • Prof. Omar Walid Abdel-Wahab / member.
  • Ahmed Raouf Nasser / member.
  • Ahmed Alaa Akla / member and supervisor.

 Where four controllers were designed and implemented (the first type fuzzy controller T1FLC) and (the second type fuzzy controller IT2FLC) and (the fractional fuzzy controller type one FOT1FLC) and (the fractional fuzzy controller type two FOT1FLC) and four types of Evolutionary optimization algorithms for the purpose of parameter tuning.

After checking the performance of all controllers and optimization algorithms by simulation and application implementation on the reverse pendulum system on the cart, the results showed that the controllers (FOIT2FLC) and the (SSO) algorithm are the best in terms of controllers’ performance and execution time.
