A group of teachers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, Assist. Prof.Dr.Laith Jafar Habib, Dr. Nabil Samir Mahmoud, Dr. Ganan Mahdi Hadi have published a book entitled "Learning the Autocad 2014 for Beginners" at NOOR Publishing
The focus of the book is on computer aided design systems which is similar to learning a new language. It is necessary to start with basic scripts and learn how to use them correctly and efficiently during practice. This requires learning some basics and skills as well as learning grammar and word meanings.
Most mechanical design systems have the ability to create three-dimensional models. However, all computer aided design systems originate designs using basic engineering entities, and many of the structures used in the technical designs are based on 2D geometric shapes. The method and number of steps required to accomplish a simple level of installation vary from system to system. In order to become an efficient and effective learner in the use of computer aided design system in the learning to create engineering entities quickly and accurately. One of the basics of learning computer aided design systems is the straight and curved line of one of the most engineering entities that support its creation and modification, which are used in most designs.
