Electromechanical engineering department at university of technology grants MSC to the student Sura Abdul-Jabbar for her thesis

"Improvement of Smart Modeling for Solar Collector by using Particles Swarm Optimization Technique and Nano Fluids".

The thesis was about evaluating the performance of the evacuated tubular solar collector using two methods to improve the performance and increase the efficiency, the first one using nanoparticles and the second using the hybrid artificial smart method and control the solar collector heat by shading the evacuated tube solar collector using an electronic curtain which is moved by a programmed engine.

The discussion committee was chaired by Asst.Prof.Dr.Ahmed Raja and the memberships of Asst.Prof.Dr.Kahtan Abd from Technical Engineering Collage-Najaf/Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and Asst.Prof.Dr.Walaa Hashim, Asst.Prof.Dr.Hashim Enaed and Asst.Prof.Dr.Khalid Sultan as supervisors.
