The university's strategic plan preparation committee (2021-2026) at the University of Technology holds virtually its first meeting via the Google meet platform

The University's Strategic Plan Preparation Committee (2021-2026) at the University of Technology held its first virtual meeting via the Google Meet platform on Monday 10/08/2020 at half past eight in the evening, chaired by the President of the University (Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban) and the membership of: -

  1. Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim / Assistant President of the University for Administrative affairs.
  2. Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dahd / Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs.
  3. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Ani / Head of Department of Electromechanical Engineering.
  4. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Majeed Khudair / Director of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department.
  5. Assist. Prof. Muhammad Mujbel Saleh / Department of Civil Engineering.
  6. Assist. Prof. Maha Abdul Karim Hammoud / affiliated to the Ministry of Planning.
  7. Assist. Prof. Ahmed Adnan Abdul Jabbar / Department of Mechanical Engineering.
  8. Dr. Qasim Kazim Hanihen / Assistant General Director of the Department of Planning and Studies - Ministry of Electricity.
  9. Dr. Amer Obaid Karim / Ministry of Planning - Department of Sector Planning.
  10. Dr. Laith Iyad Salman / Mechanical Engineering Department.

   Where the first draft was discussed to prepare for preparing the university’s strategic plan for the next five years by preparing a comprehensive study of the university’s internal and external environment to assess the current university’s position and identify the strengths, weaknesses, challenges (risks) and opportunities by analyzing data using SWOT Analysis.

   The members of the committee expressed their sound opinions and suggestions regarding to studying the university environment, which paves the way for formulating the most appropriate strategic plan for our university, in accordance with national standards for institutional accreditation and in a way that also serves the labor market.
