Al-Gabban Chaired a Meeting
Prof. Dr.Ahmed Al-Gabban, president of University of Technology, chaired the first meeting of academy accreditation and quality council in the university presidency in the attendance of the council's members.
Al-Gabban, the head of the council, steers on the necessity of holding periodical sessions to achieve the goals of the council.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Majeed , the director of quality and university performance department , viewed the proposed tasks of the council and the work system and the duties of the each section as quality section, university performance section and the rankings unit, pointing that the council has reviewed the summary of the internal audit of the of the priorities of the national ranking for the academic year 2018-2019 and discussing the experimental operation of the Iraqi University Rankings and reviewing the institutional and programmatic performance standards of Iraqi Universities and requesting the approval to address all university formations.
At the end, the council approved the proposed tasks and forming a university committee to collect all authentications to raise the rank of the university within Green Metric.
