The President of the University of Technology receives the Minister of Environment and prepares to sign a joint agreement
The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, received in his office the Minister of Environment, Dr. Jassem Al-Falahi and his accompanying delegation.The two sides exchanged talks about the possibility of a successful joint cooperation that would serve the purpose of science and the advancement of society by finding fundamental solutions to the environmental problems that society suffers from during this period. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Hussain Hamid Karim, the Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, Dr. Sari Tahsin Raishan, and the Director of the Diwan Affairs Department, Zaid Riyad Al-Anbari.
The Minister of Environment, Dr. Jassim Al-Falahi, expressed his hope that many ideas would mature and be translated into reality through the support of many scientific research, whether by researchers or postgraduate students at the university by adopting the fundamental environmental problems and reaching their solution through scientific research as well as focusing on the axis of energy and renewable energies, and working to form joint teams between the two sides in order to activate them in an optimal manner and to benefit from the latest experiences reached by researchers. The Minister of Environment instructed the formation of a specialized committee in the field of preparing green spaces at the University of Technology after the university launched the first nucleus in this project under the direct supervision of the university president to make this vital project a success. For his part, the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, affirmed his full support for the Ministry of Environment by providing them with all scientific and research capabilities to solve all environmental problems by diagnosing the causes and clarifying appropriate solutions to them. At the end of the visit, the two sides attended the discussion of a master's thesis in the Civil Engineering Department of the student Rania Raad Saeed. The discussion committee was headed by the head of the department, Prof. Hassan Hamoudi Joni.
