The Electromechanical Engineering Department discusses a doctoral thesis on the experimental and theoretical investigation of artificial intelligence techniques to control the charging of electric cars

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering discussed the doctoral thesis entitled Experimental and theoretical investigation of artificial intelligence techniques to control the charging of electric cars by researcher Hawraa Qasim Hamid Al-Faisal.

The thesis aimed to reduce environmental pollution and fuel consumption through the use of sustainable electric cars.

The thesis included designing a new technology for charging electric cars, as well as fast charging stations, reducing the electric charging time through the use of multiple concentric axial coil technology, extending the life of the electric charging battery, and using one of the methods of artificial intelligence in the fast wireless charging process in electric cars.

The researcher came up with a new wireless charging method under the title (overlapping coaxial coil for the purpose of fast charging of electric cars within a time of 26 minutes), which was reached through this thesis, which serves the Iraqi society in particular and the international community in general, as well as the Ministry of Oil.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Adel Hanoun Ayal as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Hassan Fahd Khazal as a member, Prof. Dr. Abbas Hussein Issa as a member, Prof. Dr. Amal Ahmed Reda and Prof. Hussein Saad Abd as a member, and Dr. Khaled Faisal Sultan, member and supervisor. And Prof. Hisham Salim Anaid, member and supervisor

The discussion concluded with the student being awarded a doctoral degree with distinction.
