Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology holds electronic seminars for high-study students

Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology held electronic seminars for high-study /Phd. students on Wednesday and Thursday 19-20 / 8/2020 at 4 pm to discuss their researches; in the presence of the supervising professors of their researches. Each student has been allocated 20 minutes (10 min for presentation and 10 min discussion), which it held on Google meet platform.



 
 

Al-Ghabban inspects the comprehensive exam of Al-Rafdin College students in Computer Science Department and the Environmental Research Center at the University

 

The President of UOT, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban and the President Deputy of Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Abed Dahd, on Tuesday 25/8/2020, inspected the comprehensive examination for students of Al-Rafdin University College / of Pathological Analysis Techniques Department, who were accepted according to the instructions before admission; their exam was held in the Computer Science Department at the University by giving them a comprehensive electronic exam. While the written exam for the 12 students admitted under special instructions, their exam took place at the Environmental Research Center in the presence of the head of the Ministerial Committee that deals with cases of students admitted outside the instructions, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Al-Anbari for the exams.

Al-Ghabban praised the work of the Ministerial Committee for their keenness in following up and evaluating the exams and how to properly complete them, appreciating all the distinguished efforts made by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in serving students.

The Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Technology held electronic discussion seminars for graduate students (master's) research stage and on the online platform FreeConFerenceCall.com The initial discussion of the student (Azhar Atallah Fahad) took place for his research tagged under the title:
Translate Gestures for People with Spesial Needs (Deaf and Dumb) Based on Deep Learning. Translate gestures for people with special needs (deaf and dumb) based on deep learning.
And that was on Saturday, corresponding to 6/20/2020 at ten in the morning, and the discussion took place under the direction of the scientific assistant, the session was attended by the head of the department (supervising the research) and a group of professors and graduate students
