Computer science grants PHD

 Computer science department at the university of technology grants PHD to the student Shatha Habeeb for her dissertation "------------"

The thesis focused on the Internet of things and the ways to benefit from it in various practical means and particularly in the field of E-health and it is just learning in a particular time provide comprehensive healthy, individual and dynamic content in real-time to intensify communities knowledge, and connecting the doctors and patient with experts. E-Health is one of the most important services that need WoT benefits such as speed, security and low cost. As shown above, the thesis main idea is how to propose a proposal develop WoT for E-Health.

The discussion committee was chaired by Assc.Prof.Dr.Sukenai Hassan, and Prof.Dr.Ahmad Tariq and Assc.Prof.Dr.Hala Bahjat,Assc.Prof.Dr.Hayder Kadhim from computer sciences department at collage of Education-Al-Mustanseryah University and Assc.Prof.Dr.Abbas Fadhel from Communications and Information Technology University as members and Assc.Prof.Dr.Rihab Flaih as a supervisor.

Control and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a workshop on entering students' grades with the participation of engineers and technicians in the laboratories of the department. The workshop was presented by Lect. Sirwan Walid Jarjees and explained that The system uses the QR Code method to retrieve the data into a special system of the examination committee and then calculate the grade of laboratory subjects of each branch and the chosen stage to facilitate the process of managing the students' grades in an easy and accurate manner.

University president honors lecturer

 

The President of the University of Technology Prof.Dr.Amin Douai Thamer honors the lecturer at Materials Engineering Department, Muhannad Najah, in appreciation of his distinguished efforts in completing all the works of the Center and completing seminars, workshops, lectures and preparing for the 6th International Scientific Conference of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials.

Continuing Education Center at the University of Technology organized a specialized training course on water treatment of steam boilers from 22 till 26 / 4/2018 with the participation of trainees from the General Company for Food Products, the General Company for the Mining Industries and Al-Faris General Company.

On the basis of cooperation principle between educational institutions and state departments,  Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit to the fourth grade students in the electronic engineering branch to the Ministry of Electricity / Training and Development Department under the supervision of the professors of the branch to view the latest developments in the field of renewable energies, espacailly15kW solar cells that are synchronized with the national grid and 0.4kW low voltage and three phases.

 They also attend the scientific symposium "extensive generation in distribution sector" which was presented by the representative of the training and development department, Dr. Nasir Karim Qassem.

The group was welcomed by the staff of training and development department of the Ministry of Electricity.

Continuing Education Center at the University of Technology organized a specialized training course on water treatment of steam boilers from 22 till 26 / 4/2018 with the participation of trainees from the General Company for Food Products, the General Company for the Mining Industries and Al-Faris General Company.

The aim of the course is to introduce engineers and operators in the steam boiler unit to the most important problems in steam boilers, as well as the definition of the methods of water treatment boilers, as well as the latest methods and techniques used worldwide to improve the efficiency of steam boilers.

The course included the problems of steam boilers, corrosion in their pipes, water treatment of steam boilers, as well as modern techniques used to improve the work and performance of steam boilers.The course was presented by Raheeq Ismail from Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology.
