Dr. Saleh Saleh Mehdi from the Department of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology received a master's degree in computer engineering from her thesis titled "Implementation of cognitive radio to improve the use of spectrum in the wireless network". Applications that use high data rates that need high-bandwidth, high-efficiency spectral systems. Cognitive radio (CR) is a convincing solution to the problem of congestion of the spectrum that allows the wireless network to sense the surrounding area and modify it to previous knowledge to get the best communication in this message. Focused on the ENERGY DETECTION method of cognitive radio

The search involved applications that use high data rates that need high-bandwidth, high-efficiency spectral systems. Cognitive radio (CR) is a convincing solution to the problem of spectrum congestion, which allows the wireless network to sense the surrounding area and modify it to previous knowledge for best communication. This message focused on the ENERGY DETECTION method of cognitive radio.

The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Azad Rahim Karim as Chairman Fadel Hassib Hassan and Prof. Manf Sabri Tabu Members and m. Dr.. S homepage!

Systems and Control Engineering Department at the University of Technology grants MSC to the student Hawraa Fadhel for her thesis (-------).

The research showed that Internet objects develop learning and learning processes by introducing sensors, drives and other intelligent devices into a smart learning environment. The proposed research focused on the application of Internet technology for the design of the e-learning system using the MQTT protocol, which evaluates its performance in the e-learning system. Evaluation is performed using the network emulator for various e-learning scenarios.

The discussion committee was chaired by Asst.Prof.Dr.Entisar Abdel-Mjeed. Asst.Prof.Dr.Laith Jasim and Lect.Dr.Ekhlas Kadhim as members. Asst.Prof.Dr.Hameed Moos as supervisor.

Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a discussion workshop on ceramic materials technology and application which was presented by Asst.Prof.Dr.Fadel Abd.

The workshop includes five axes. The first and second axes were a general description of the ceramic materials of all kinds, and the global need for such materials, including electronic applications, magnetic applications and applications of superconductivity ceramics in terms of type, use, materials and related characteristics.

The third axis was associated with a part of the process of preparation of nanomaterials and the fourth axis related to the characterization of the ceramic membranes and their global trends,

The fourth axis presents the general description of refractory and the fifth axis, which ensures the nature, characteristics and types of electrical ceramic insulators.

Zainab Abdul Amir North obtained a Master's degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology for her thesis tagged:

(Improved search results using extreme patterns and chicken-chicken cousins)

Enhance Search Result Using Dissimilar Patterns and Chicken Swarm Algorithm

The researcher suggested a proposed system to enhance the effectiveness of retrieving Arabic search documents using the Chicken Squirrel and the Unwanted Pattern. The Chicken Squad is used as an algorithm to identify appropriate attributes in the system to improve the search process.

Use the concept (unmatched style) to remove and delete unrelated pages from the results of the ordered list, and to improve the results of the user query. The proposed NLEL corpus standard set of data sets was tested for 11,650 documents.

The experimental results (precision 81%, recall 70% accuracy, 92.2%) were compared to the traditional systems achieved with the same data set.

The discussion committee consisted of the discussion room in the annex building of the department. Ayad Roudhan and Prof. Suhad Mal Allah from the University of Technology and d.Prof. Nada Abdel-Zahra from Baghdad University Prof. Alia Karim as a  supervisor.
