English Language Center is pleased to announce for the event Speak up Technology

In its fourth season on 16/3/2019, which aims to spread the culture of speaking English in our university, this activity is characterized by highlighting the creative ideas and topics, especially those related to the scientific and academic affairs of the local and international, which deserve to be presented to the public and concerned officials and specialists to support and promote them. Promotes and encourages the community to speak English.

The opportunities to participate are given to the distinguished subjects and presentations, and the participants are chosen by the competent supervisory committee through an interview conducted for them. Each participant will be given an opportunity of 10-15 minutes to present an idea, a general issue, a project, an invention, a motivational lecture or a story with a moral or moral lesson in English to break the barrier of fear of the brainstorming of ideas and private opinions.

All applicants will be interviewed at a date to be determined later and ten participants will be selected depending on the outcome of the interview. After that, the speakers will be trained intensively by a professional professor in the center to be fully prepared to present their subjects.

The university team of the government program at the university of technology discussed the mechanisms of implementation of the governmental program within the time frames set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hassan Attia,

The meeting reviewed the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for projects and programs until 2022. The discussion of the mechanism of administration, organization and follow-up of the implementation of the objectives, projects and programs of the government program. And how to prepare the plan of the government program of the University of Technology. And a plan of action for the government program committee at the university. As well as explaining all the objectives and projects and programs of the Ministry and required to be implemented during the next four years with an explanation of how to implement all programs and activities at the University of Technology.

The meeting dealt with the national classification of the quality of Iraqi universities, applied scientific research projects, activating twinning programs with international universities, research fellowships for teachers, and providing the elements of an investment environment in order to encourage the expansion factor in government colleges.

The Committee discussed the best ways and means possible to implement the objectives of the ministry identified through a number of programs and activities within the university with the development of plans and timetables for implementation and follow-up.

It is decided to establish multiple committees, where each committee is responsible for the implementation of the project entrusted to it and follow up the implementation of all programs related to it with the preparation of periodic reports and percentages of achievement.

It is worth noting that the objectives of the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are five main goals: the entry of Iraqi universities into international classifications, the real twinning of Iraqi universities with international universities, the reduction of slack, Parallel education, in addition to investing in expanding government colleges and raising their scientific and academic levels by the Iraqi and foreign private sector.
