Marwa Mohammed Mari from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology received a PhD with a very good degree from her thesis
(Improving the quality and reliability of electric power using the microwave network in Iraq)
On Thursday 14/9/2017 at the Tigris Hall in the section.
The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Essam Mahmoud Abdel Baki as Chairman and Assistant Professor Dr. Afanin Anwar Aboud, Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Mohamed Taima, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussain Thani Rachk, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abas Abdullah Members and Assistant Professor Dr. Rashid Hamid Matar and Assistant Professor Dr. Yousef Mahmoud Musharraf.
The researcher has reached analysis, design and modeling of Microgrid
For the distribution network of the holy province of Karbala using the program (MATLAB 2014a)
To improve the efficiency and reliability of the network.
The Thermal Limit Factor (TLF) has been studied for transmission lines to determine which stations need to reduce load. These loads represent the capacity of a micro grid
After the analysis, the Indian and Husseini stations have a TLF greater than one and the loads to be reduced are 20MVA from Al Hindi station and 10 MVA from Husseiniya to reduce the TLF to an acceptable level.

lectures from Production Engineering and Minerals Department and the Center for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials at the University of Technology succeeded in publishing applied research in the oil and gas industry to protect and prolong the life of the oil pipeline transporting products and oil derivatives from corrosion using nanomaterial coatings and laser pulse deposition technology.
The erosion of oil pipelines is a major problem facing the oil facilities, which cost a great deal of time and money. Therefore, this research was a research link between the academic side of the representative of the University of Technology and the applied side represented by the institutions of the Ministry of Oil. Dr. Khaled Ajami, Assistant lecture. Ahmed Saloum and Assistant lecture. Nareen Hafez.
It is worth mentioning that our world is witnessing a revolution in nanotechnology and in the various fields of engineering and science, which is one of the micro-technologies that use the molecules in the manufacture of everything with new characteristics ,
And unique. The idea of research depends on the use of modern nanotechnology in the field of metal protection from corrosion It is a modern and new method and very effective in protecting metals from corrosion.

The Journal of Al-Rafidain College university in the number
40 of the journal the year 2017 scientific research for the lecturer . Sahar Rady residents of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology entitled:
Design and implementation of low-capacity refrigerator
Design and Implementation of Low Power Thermoelectric Refrigerator The research goal that to design a Electro thermal refrigerator Through the use of the Peliter effect to maintain certain temperatures within an acceptable range and that the basic design is to reach the appropriate temperatures in a short time and with low capacity and low cost and the refrigerator is a good alternative because it can benefit from the loss of electricity to cooling useful, so it is useful in the field of food preservation and cooling devices and other electronic fields.
