Australian University of New South Wales offers a Master's degree in Engineering and Systems Engineering
As part of the scholarship program of the Higher Committee for the Development of Education in Iraq, Haidari thamer Jassim, a graduate student in the Department of Engineering and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology, received a master's degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia for his research entitled: (Cooperative collision-free navigation of multi-wheeled robots in a dispersed, unknowable environment)
The research included the development of the MPC algorithm for collaborative navigation of a group of robots in the unrecognized environment. It included facilitating and redesigning some of the algorithm steps to make them more efficient in practical applications. It also included the integration of this algorithm with a number of nonlinear Kalman filters for optimal guessing of the location and navigation angle of each robot. This method ensures that each robot is navigated in an unknowable and non-disruptive environment without obstacles or other robots.
The President of the University congratulates the professors and students on the University's access to advanced positions within the Iraqi classification of universities
The President of the University of Technology Professor.Dr. Amin Douai Thamer congratulated the University of Technology and its staff And students on the occasion of the university for the second place in the national classification of the quality of Iraqi universities, as well as gaining third place ranking among universities most academic achievement for the year 2016 at the level of Iraqi universities.
Lecturer from the Materials Department composes a book on the installation of engineering materials
Lecturer of the Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Dr. Abbas Khammas Hussain, Head of General Materials Engineering Branch, published a scientific book titled Engineering Materials Installation, issued by the Tigris Library in its first edition of 2017. The third chapter deals with the structure of the crystal. The fourth chapter deals with the structure of the atom. The fifth chapter deals with the composition of the solid materials. Chapter 6 contains the crystalline defects, and the seventh and final chapters Phase charts.
The Nanotechnology Research Center holds a seminar on safety in research laboratories
The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center at the University of Technology held a seminar entitled "Safety in Research Laboratories" where the lecture was given by the lecturer. Kazem Rashid Kabbashi. And dealt with the process of occupational safety in scientific laboratories, which aims to maintain the laboratory workers "human element" and "physical element" and laboratory equipment as well as the building of the research laboratory of the risks dealing with chemicals and radioactive and possible accidents and how to deal with them.
Lecturer from the Department of Control Engineering publishes research in a local magazine
Faculty of Engineering, University of Baghdad, 2017, under the title:
"Development for the design of a control algorithm (programmable programmable logic gate - proportional differential integrator - pulse width adjustment) automatic toning and live connection to the DC power adapter in mobile applications."
The main objective of this work is a structural proposal of a hybrid algorithm for the dominant tuner that has the ability to search quickly and accurately in the global regions in order to obtain the optimal gain elements for the proposed control to generate the best voltages of the control act to achieve the required performance of the output of the cutoff converter.
