Published the lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology. Assist. Prof.Dr Jinan Star Khashan Scientific research on:
Development of polymer-based nonmaterial's used to repair and replace natural bone - radiological study Modified polymer matrix nano Biocomposite for bone and Replacement - Radiological study "In the Journal of Engineering and Technology.
The study examined the evolution of the proposed material when cultured in animal model and follow up with radiological development. The results showed the effectiveness of the material for medical application, as there was no inflammation at the same time as construction with natural bone in the transplant area.

The student Ammar Ahmed Faleh from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology grant a master's degree with a very good grade for his MA thesis (design of a hybrid car that works by electric charge and solar energy) at the Dijla Hall in the department.
The researcher concluded in his letter to manufacture a hybrid car powered by solar and electric charge and this project is considered the first project which an integrated hybrid car industry has been created, It has proved its efficiency in country's conditions The car has been designed and manufactured within the Suggested Specifications, which match the actual requirements from the mechanical side and the electric side, a highly efficient engine and control circuit has been designed to achieve high results as well as design a high-efficiency, high-efficiency lifting circuit that produced good results. A prototype of the electrical parts was modeled to simulate the supposed reality and achieved high results for the assumed calculations.
The discussion committee consisted of Assist. Prof. Dr. Saad Abdel-Reda Mekki as president, Assist. Prof. Dr Ali Hussain Assist. Dr. Mohamed Mounas Ezz El Din as members Dr. Ali Hassan El- Mokhtar, Assist. Dr Ali Jabbar Salem, supervisors and members.

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology granted the Master Degree to the student Manal Nasser Jaber with a very good grade high for her thesis:
Liquid Cooling System for Computer Process Unit
 "Water cooling of the CPU"
In the course of the work, the researcher obtained the cooling of the calculator acquired by water rather than air (fan) by manufacturing a chiller system and using a mini channel heat sink instead of the fan used for air cooling. The cooling system used the heat exchanger to absorb the heat Resulting from CPUs for two types of CPUs 2.8 GHz and 3 GHz where the CPU temperature was saved by 15Co when using 2.8 GHz and 11 Co when using 3GHZ and under the low reliability of the device up to 1-0.qqq8.
The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Ihsan Yahya Hussein of the University of Baghdad, Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department, Chairman and members of Dr. Hussein Majeed Saleh, assist.lec Manal Kazem Ouda, Dr. Iqbal Hussain Ali supervisors from the University of Technology.
