The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology held a lecture delivered by Dr. Alaa Abdul Hadi Jabr on his PhD thesis at the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom titled "Designing a compact and intelligent electronic system for monitoring the health status of an industrial robot" at Dr. Munir Al-Muzaffar Hall in the department.

The researcher said that industrial robots have long been used in production systems to improve productivity, quality and safety in automated manufacturing processes. But in practice, a failure or sudden failure in the robot, due to various reasons, may have disastrous implications for the safety of the operator as well as may lead to a complete disruption of production leading to significant economic losses. Condition monitoring is a type of maintenance, in which the machines are monitored continuously by measuring and collecting some important signals that can be extracted from certain properties for the purpose of detecting the signs of early deterioration in the health of the machine.

Technical and economic assessment of a grid-connected thermal PV system using nanoweal cooling water and nanoparticles in Malaysia.

( (Techno-economic assessment of grid connected PV / T using nanoparticles and water as base-fluid systems in Malaysia))

In which the research obtained technical and economic evaluation theoretically and practically for a grid-connected thermal photoelectric system that is cooled by a nanoparticle composed mainly of water and nanoparticles in Malaysia and that the productivity and use of photovoltaic cells were studied using the capacity factor. The cost of the system and cost recovery were also studied. The system has been installed, checked and collected. The study shows a practical assessment of voltages, power and efficiency.
