The head of Control and Systems Engineering Department at UOT inspect the competitive exam procedures 

Assist. Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim Karim, the head of Control and Systems Engineering Department at UOT with the Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific Affairs and high-Studies Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yousif Hassan, inspected the procedures of the competitive exam for high-study students of MSc in the branches of control, computer, and mechatronics engineering, and Ph.D., the control engineering branch On Sunday 10/18/2020.

He praised the efforts made by the central committee supervising the exams in particular and those in charge of the university in general by facilitating the exam procedures and providing a comfortable environment for taking the exam and applying health and safety measures.

lecturers from University of Technology obtain a patent from the American Office regarding a " tight system of torsional pulsing"  

Dr. Hassanein Muhammad Hussein, Dr. Mahmoud Atallah Mashkour and Dr. Laith Jaafar Habib, UOT lecturers, obtained an international patent from American office about "tight system of torsional pulsing" for the transmission chain of energy after months of continuous work with the patent office American.

The lecturers explained that this patent concerns the "tight system of torsional pulsing" for the power transmission chain, this invention introduces the use of a pre- tighten torsional pulsing linked to the power transmission chain to keep it in a permanent tighten without loosening and improve its durability. In addition, its advantages are the simple mechanism, low cost of manufacturing and maintenance, easy installation and replacement.

The Minister of Higher Education and scientific research inspects the competitive exam procedures and confirms the commitment to the admission plan for high-study studies

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kahdim Abdel Saheb, inspected the competitive exam procedures for high-studies at the University of Technology.

He stressed while touring a number of scientific departments at the University of Technology, the commitment of Ministry of Higher Education to the admission plan for high- studies in Iraqi universities for academic year 2020/2021, which was set at eleven thousand seats for higher diplomas, MSc and Ph.D. in various specializations.

He explained that the timing of application, exam and auditing are studied in a manner that takes into account the beginning of new academic year for high-studies scheduled for the first of next November.

He added that the work plan that the university institutions are promoting aims to consolidate the requirements that allow applicants to have a fair and transparent competition and provide them with opportunities for admission on the basis of scientific merit.

He appreciated the efforts of the university and its staff in receiving applicants and implementing health and safety procedures, calling at the same time to enable universities to have their independence and to maintain appropriate work standards within the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.quality and academic accreditation.

The Vice  President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies inspects the course of the competitive examination in the Departments of Architecture and Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology

The Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies (Prof. Dr. Haidar Abdul Dahd) inspected the competitive examination courses for applicants to postgraduate studies in the departments of architecture and electrical engineering at the University of Technology.

Where he appreciated the efforts of the heads of departments, the teaching staff and all employees who participated in receiving applicants for postgraduate studies and preparing all the necessary supplies for them.

 Lec.Assis. Enas Aqeel Rahim from the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Technology participated in the electronic workshop "Tahaqiq"

On August 17, 18 and 20, 2020, it was established by the Real Sciences website with funding from the Goethe Institute in Cairo.

Where the workshop dealt with standards for publishing and evaluating research and studies, verifying news and scientific facts, verifying pseudoscience and myths issues with exercises to verify false news.
