Electromechanical Engineering Department at UOT held an electronic workshop by free conference call platform about “How to Create a Channel on Telegram” and Upload Video and Text Lectures, delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hassan Jabal and Assist. Prof.Dr. Muhannad Zaidan Khalifa.

Through this workshop, it was touched on how to create a channel on the telegram and how to get benefit from it as a means of communicating with students or as a means of presenting the scientific material. Through this workshop, the most important characteristics of the telegram channel and what distinguishes it from the rest of the means of communication were reviewed.

The Rehabilitation and Employment Division held an electronic workshop for University of Technology students’ and graduates’, by the Rehabilitation and Employment Division of the scientific departments in coordination with the Alqamer Gate Company (Protect (Your Data), in which we will talk about protection for individuals and institutions.

The Corona virus pandemic forced millions of people, students and employees to study or work in their home, and this represents a good opportunity for hackers to launch attacks and spread malware because it has become easier to target individuals and institutions away from the security and protection measures that were applied in the work environment, so cybersecurity and data protection have become today more important than ever.

Career Unit Held "Social Marketing" Workshop

Career and Development Unit at University of Technology in cooperation with Bawabit Al-Qamar Company held an electronic workshop for the students and graduates of the university named" Social Marketing" on Thur.May,14,2020 via free conference call . The participants in this workshop will know the concept of social marketing, how to plan it and also giving examples on this issue which considered one of the important types of marketing.  

Career Unit and Al-Riyad Company in Continues Cooperation

Within the continues cooperation between the Career Uint at University of Technology and AL-Riyad Company for electrical equipment to train and rehabilitate the graduates of the university to find job opportunity in the private sector, a group of students of the university were trained in the head quarter of the company in Mar.17,2020.

A delegation from UOT visits Baghdad Governorate to discuss scientific efforts to face Corona virus

Under the direction of UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmmed Muhammad Hassan al-Ghabban, a delegation from the university visited Baghdad Governorate on Monday 11/5/2020 and they were received by the Governor of Baghdad, Engineer Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta.

The visit included discussing possible scientific efforts in face Corona virus.  The Governor of Baghdad listened to the most prominent proposals presented by the delegation and ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, which discussed providing the best services to the capital, Baghdad.

The Governor assured the delegation his interest in the proposals; among them activate one of the proposed projects, which include a robot model within the work of isolation halls in hospitals to facilitate the movement between them.
