Activities of the Crisis Management Committee for the Prevention of Corona virus in the Department of Computer Science

The Crisis Management Committee for the Prevention of Infection with Corona Virus in the Department of Computer Science and under the direct supervision of the Computer Science Department Head Professor Dr. Alia K. Abdel-Hassan has carried out its on-site work to purify and sterilize classrooms, surfaces and rooms for employees, laboratories and WC.

Dr.Eiad Raduan,the adminstrative assistant, Dr. Bashar Saadoun, Dr. Iyad Hazim, Director of the Administrative Unit Aqil Mahdi and employees of the department,have partispated in this committee, where tasks were distributed among the members of the committee, so purifying operations are continuing on a daily ways in the department.

A lecturer in the Computer Science Department publishes a research in the Iraqi Journal of Science

The lecturer in the Department of Computer Science Prof. Hana M. Ahmed with the participation of Hala Hassan / Baghdad University /  computer Center published her research entitled "The effect of levels in the transformation of the double wavelet tree as designing a comprehensive picture analyst" in the Iraqi Journal of Science issued by Baghdad University / College of Science.

The design of global image analyzers that contain implicit information is an important issue relative to the large dimensions of the characteristics of the natural image and deep neural networks, especially the deep nuclei networks, are ways that have an interest in the problem of designing the global image analyzer.

This study describes the effect of setting appropriate values ​​for a number of levels when performing pre-treatment on The image using the double wavelet transformer complex of the tree. This value has an effect on the accuracy of the detection of the images obtained to evaluate the system at the number of levels when it is equal to five gives a better performance of the system, comparing to the Other level number in addition to reducing the time required for training and selecting pictures.

She also received a certificate of a training course about Corona Virus from Harvard Medical University.

In addition, she obtained a certificate of participation in an electronic workshop held by the ministerial team.

Construction and projects complete eleven engineering inventories in the university presidency and scientific departments

Construction and Projects Department at UOT has completed eleven engineering survey list in UOT Presidency, engineering and scientific departments and cent.

Department of Construction and Projects Director, Lec. The Conclusion

In this study, laminar honeycomb structures were prepared as overlapping materials, and the effect of the cell shape, the type of material used in cell manufacture, and the number of outer layers of this structure were studied on some mechanical and diagnostic properties such as (bending, shock, hardness, and electronic scanning). The materials used in this study are epoxy, silicon carbide, fiberglass and graphite minutes. An analytical engineering program (ansys) was used, which showed a match between practical and analytical results.

The discussion was conducted in a scientific atmosphere, and students were awarded MSc. with a grade of (accepted) after all modifying that were made by the discussants.
