Students from Communication Engineering Department at UOT take part in Huawei training courses

Five students participated in training courses for Huawei, "the Iraq Seeds of the Future program" that started from 7 to 11 September 2020 They have got the latest technical training in 5G, AI and Cloud. Huawei honored and rewarded students who successfully passed the Iraq Seeds for the Future program, which was held online on September 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

A lecturer from Production Engineering and Minerals Department at UOT obtains an evaluation certificate for scientific research

 Dr. Omar Hashim / Administrative Assistant of the Department and  lecturer in the Industrial Engineering Branch obtained a Scientific Research Evaluation Certificate from the international publishing house Elsevier for his participation in the evaluation of scientific research. Wishing him continued success and progress in support of scientific career in the department and the University of Technology.

English language center complete exceptional course

Under the supervision of the director of English language center lect.Dr.Hussan Hussein, English language center at university of technology completed its twenty third (exceptional) English efficiency course, for those whom applying for high studies, which was held from sept.22.2020 till sept.26.2020 with the participation of 69 trainee from governmental and private sector.

The course was organized electronically through Classroom platform, noting that the registration was electronically by a special form to avoid visiting the center and ban gathering according to instructions of high committee for health and national safety.

The course aimed at introducing the trainees to the basics of English language and making a review to most important subjects needed in the exam through sonic and video recordings, answering the questions of the trainees also quizzes to train them on the exam. The course ended up with a final exam for 50 examinee at 4 pm. Through meet program.

an engineer from Computer Science Department at UOT  obtains certificates of participation in scientific courses

Engineer Muhammad Abdullah from Computer Science Department obtained a certificate of participation from the researchers and academics platform (dispatch) for his participation in the lecture titled “Features of the New World and Artificial Intelligence Technology in Light of the Challenges of the Age and the Corona Pandemic” held via the electronic platform zoom on 8/15/2020 and in cooperation with the Forum Sustainable Development (Swedish-Iraqi Network) Lund University

 Eng. Muhammad Abdullah obtained a certificate of attendance and participation in the lecture tagged (Introduction to Linux) from King Abdulaziz University / College of Computers and Information Technology on 7/12/2020 that includes introducing the Linux system, its importance and its applications

The engineer also obtained a certificate of attendance and participation from the American International Academy for Higher Education and Training (the American Institute for Biological, Engineering and Nanotechnology Studies) for attending the workshop activities from 15 to 18 September 2020.
