The English Language Center at U OT announces the establishment of an electronic teaching course in the English language. The course aims to develop the capabilities and skills of holders of higher degrees in modern teaching methods, lecturing and managing time in the class professionally.
Note that the duration of the course is five days, at three hours per day, and that the course fees are (50,000) fifty thousand Iraqi dinars, and registration for the course is done through the link below:

The University of Technology President inspects the alternative site for the campaign to house the contents of the internal departments inside the university
UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban checked field the alternative site that plane to establish to house the contents of the internal departments at the university.
During the tour, they reviewed the mechanism of transferring the assets of internal departments that are outside to inside the university and how to contain them through establishment of alternative sites with a low cost that able to contain those assets that belong to the university after the decision to vacate the internal departments not affiliated with the universities by the Ministry.
Al-Ghabban instructed the Construction and Projects Department to expedite the completion of
all required work before the start of the 2020/2021 academic year.

On Thursday, 20/8/2020, the Presidency of the University of Technology held a press conference on the electronic exams for the preliminary study after their completion and their success in an excellent manner without any obstacles or problems mentioned. The conference was attended by the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, President Assistant for Administrative Deputy, Prof. Hussein Hamid Karim, President Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations, Prof. Haider Abd Dahd and a number of department heads at the university.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, made a speech that included good news of the success of the final electronic exams experience for the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020 and the final exams for this academic year for the annual system in all its details, indicating the success of this experiment in all its subtle joints at the university, as it was a unique experience that showed good coordination and performance Executing with all the extraordinary efforts required by the teachers and members of the examination committees, and everyone who contributed, even by a simple effort aimed at making a change in the right path, had an effective impact in the success of a great experiment referred to by Lebanon, and the Iraqi education will definitely remind it with pride.
He stressed the University of Technology's continuous support for the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to stand up to the challenges and preserve this academic year that was threatened with being lost had it not been for the blessed efforts made by the Ministry.
Adding that the University of Technology is fully prepared to stand again with the ministry's instructions to work together in the next academic year with the blended learning mechanism.
At the end of the press conference, Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, praised the efforts of the advanced staff at the University of Technology, appreciating all the efforts they made for the sustainability of the scientific process in the service of our beloved Iraq, congratulating the Iraqi people on the onset of the new Hijri year, asking Allah to keep this epidemic away from everyone, and the Iraqis have permanent health and safety.

In the international magazine (Sensors) by the publishing house (MDPI), this magazine is considered one of the high-quality international magazines with an impact factor of (3.275) and from the first quarter (Q1) according to the global classification Clarivate Analytics (The former Thomson Reuters)
The research includes a review of medical stents (mesh) that are transplanted inside the coronary artery to expand it to avoid blockage, which causes stroke
The failure rate of transplant of these stents ranges from 10% to 15%, as they do not remain open, which results about 40% of patients who have had stent transplant, requires repeating transplant within one year.
Current stent monitoring techniques were reviewed as well as the practical treatment of stent stenosis not recurring. Problems and challenges associated with current techniques and their typical applications were presented and discussed.
There are brief suggestions made to discuss the progress of the stent transplant, and to disclose the basic requirements necessary to achieve high-quality of stent transplant devices in terms of size and reliability
Some proposals have also been identified to make use of these pillars in other scientific fields
