The English Language Center at the University of Technology announces the start of registration for the electronic English proficiency course, which will start on Sunday 8/30/2020 until 2/9/2020, and Thursday 3/9/2020 will be the day of the final examination for the course.

To register for the above course using the Google Classroom educational platform, please follow the following steps: -

 

* Open the electronic form from the following link:

* Fill out the registration form and complete all the form fields, then press Submit  .. You will receive the access code for the class on your e-mail (gmail) that you registered with. Please keep the electronic class code for the purpose of joining the class later. In the event that the course code does not arrive, please contact the center's Facebook page for help.

1- Type the word Google Classroom in the Google browser or download it as an application on the mobile phone.

 

2- Sign in in your gmail account

 

3- Click on the + sign at the top of the screen, then choose join class

 4- Enter the code that appeared in the registration form.

 Now you have joined the electronic class for your course, please follow the publications of the professors and lecturers and the required duties throughout the training period, with the need to record daily attendance through a form published in the electronic class every day. Note that there are degrees of participation in duties and daily attendance

  Note: Participation fees will be paid upon receipt of the certificate. Electronic payment service is also available through (Zain Cash) wallet.

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology held electronic seminars for postgraduate / doctoral and master's studies students on Wednesday, 8/26/2020, to discuss their research and in the presence of the supervising professors for their research. Doctoral student Omar Sabah, research title:
A computational and experimental study of the heat transfer and dynamics of the two-particle mixture in the three-phase fluidized bed reactor

And doctoral student Mortada Sabah, the title of his research: The study of converting waste into fuel: an applied example of converting plastic waste into fuel Master's student Sarah Mazhar, title of her research: Preparation and diagnosis of environmentally friendly composite films for use in separations The seminar was held on the FCC platform.

The Director of  Rusafa Healthcare Sector visits the departments of the University of Technology, including the Civil Engineering Department

According to the directives of the General Director of Rusafa Health, Dr. Abdul-Ghani Saadoun Al-Saadi, the Director of the Rusafa Sector for Primary Health Care, Dr. Fadela Taha Abbas, visited with a team from the Babel Health Center on Thursday 3/9/2020 the departments of the University of Technology, including the Department of Civil Engineering, to follow up preventive measures against Corona virus for sixth students Preparatory education for students to be aware of the necessity to wear paws and masks and social distancing between them, as the masks were distributed to students who did not wear a mask  and students' temperature was measured to limit the spread of the virus, and they were also made aware of fear and anxiety that causes weak immunity. Dr. Farida Taha confirmed that the school health units continue to provide health and psychological services to hagerabdtrans.
