Karkh University Grants Appreciation Letter

President of Al-Karkh University of Science Prof.Dr. Thamer Abdul-Ameer and Head of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Assc.Prof.Dr. Rafia Abbas grants Dr.Suhair M. Zaki, a lecturer at the Computer Science Department an appreciation letter for her efforts in presenting a lecture (Behavioral Therapy for Autism Children) on Friday Sept.4th 2020 on ASP platform.

Dr.Suhair presents in her lecture the most important symptoms and behaviors that characterize autisms and their treatments, the cases that have been treated in speech and language centers. Large number of lecturers and people involved attended the lecture wishing Dr. Suhair all succes.

The Presidency of the University of Technology issues instructions regarding official working hours

Based on the workflow requirements, the University of Technology Presidency issued instructions on Monday 7/9/2020 regarding the working position of employees.
And it was decided that the official working hours for all  departments and centers of the university presidency would be 60% instead of 25%, which includes teaching staff and others, by organizing a periodic schedule of work hours to achieve the mentioned percentage of the official working hours.

The Head of Computer Science Department at UOT meets with the software developers’ team who are student of the department

The Head of Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Karim Abdel-Hassan, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Bashar Saadoun, met a team of software developers’ who are students of the Department.

The head of the department welcomed the team and praised their effective efforts and activities to invest leisure time and employ youth energies to build future energies that serve our dear country. During the meeting, it has been listened to their views and propositions that they intend to achieve, which the student team leader Ali Zuhair referred to.

The meeting discussed several topics, including:

- The stage the developer team has reached.

- Training workshop program that prepared by the team to train a number of students who wishing to join it.

- The future plans of the team in line with the goals it set to serve the segment of students who interested in developing targeted programs for community service.

At the end, the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Alya Karim Abdel-Hassan, and the administrative assistant, Dr. Bashar Saadoun, expressed their desire to adopt the students' targeted activities that serve the country.

  Research from Computer Science Department Consented 

 The scientific research (Encoding Distributed Transfer with the improvement of the Devi-Hillman Protocol to maintain the confidentiality of large messages) prepared  by Prof.Dr. Hana Mohsen Ahmed from the Department of Computer Science was consented in the Third International Conference on Engineering Technology and its Applications which is sponsored by IEEE, that will be held by the Islamic University in Najaf on  Sept. 6-7 2020.
 This method proposes doubling the size of the secret key resulting from the implementation of the Diffie-Hellman protocol by doubling the number of private keys for both the sender and the receiver, then it enters the hash function, then resulting key enters the multi-layer array algorithm and finally to the encoding distributed transfer in order to get rid of the MIM and BFA attack, and overcoming the weakness of coding by the hash function resulting from the ability to try all possible keys.
