Al-Gabban Attend MSC Discussion

Prof.Dr.Ahmed Al-Gabban, president of University of Technology, attended on Thursday, Jan., 4, 2021 MSC discussion of the student Ann Samari for her thesis "The Role of Iconic Architecture in Sustainable Development" at Architecture Engineering Department in the University at the attendance of University of Al-Israa Collage's Dean Dr.Abdul-Razaq Jabbar and the head of Architecture Engineering Department Prof.Dr.Ibrahim Jiwad and the scientific and administrative deputies , number of lecturers and high graduate students.

The thesis aimed at building a conceptual framework for economic development to reveal what it is and to know the potentials that may effect in the field of architecture economically, and revealing the connection between the architecture and economic and the role that the first affects the second, as well as building a framework for iconic architecture and viewing its features and the relation to concepts such as identity, context, how it is produced, read and defined.
