Environment Research Center Held Meeting

At the attendance of Prof.Dr.Abdul-Hameed Mohammed, director of the center, Lect.Dr.Mohammed Mouad, Prof.Dr.Mian Salman from Civil Engineering Department, Prof.Dr.Ali Hussein from Materials Engineering  Department, Asst.Prof.Dr.Abdullah Sadoon from ArchitectureEngineering Department, Prof.Dr. Osama Kadhim from Science of Agricultuural Engineering form University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr.Nada Khalefa from Urban Planning Center at University of Baghdadand Lect.Dr.Vinous Maitham from Al-Mustansiryah Univesity , Environment research center at University of Technology held a meeting for scientific committee of the first axis of the fifth international scientific conference for environment and sustainable development which is organized by the center and scheduled to be held on March in Istanbul-Turkey.

During the meeting, they discussed some issues related to the first axis particularly and the conference generally, adhering to the instructions of the Crisis Cell.

The first axis named "Green Growth and Sustainable Development" is one of the five axes of the conference which receives researches that concerned with many fields, the most important are those dealing with economic growth and policies to promote green growth, sustainable agriculture, and environmental studies in civil engineering, earth sciences, sanitation, water resources, water conservation, earthquakes and earth improvement techniques and environment modeling.
