The Environmental Research Center Wins the Golden and Silver Medal in the 4TH Exhibition of Patents and Industrial Models
E.R.C. at the University of Technology won golden and silver medal in the 4th exhibition of patents and industrial models, which was held by the Industrial Research and Development Authority / Ministry of Industry and Minerals, in cooperation with the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control and the Iraqi Federation of Industries, with the participation of (243) patents and an industrial model acceptable to all specializations of the ministries and scientific institutions and in the presence of the Director General of the Commission, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of the Iraqi Federation of Industries, a representative from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, and a group of researchers and innovators.
The center participation in a patent entitled “Breast Cancer Treatment with Herbs and a Regular Diet” is for Lect. Dr. Muhammad Muayad Taha, who won the golden medal and the silver medal was awarded to the center Asst. Lect. Zahraa Z. Farhan, entitled Synergistic activities of Sophora flavescens root extract and Streptomyces avemitilis extract in Water contaminated oil treatment.
The patents participating in the exhibition were evaluated by a specialized committee to announce during the exhibition the winning patents in the first place and honor the innovators with a gold medal in appreciation of their creativity, while the second and third ranks were honored with silver and bronze medals.
