Control and Systems Eng. Dep. hold a celebration
Al- Ghabban gives care to the beloved of God and praises their talents
Under the auspices of UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Control and Systems Eng. Dep. Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim Karim, and in cooperation with the Al-Iraqiya Huna team and Charity Cooperative Society. On the occasion of International Children's Day, a celebration was held under the slogan I have a future, in the presence of Vice President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim and a large number of faculty staff & employees, where the celebration began with the playing of the national anthem and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah the martyrs. After that, the activities continued, including the songs presented by the talented boy (Mohammed Mustafa) of Charity Cooperative Society, then a state by Mr. Zaid Zahir, the director of Charity Cooperative Society. Then many activities are presented by the Charity kids’ as (My Pilot). Then a lecture by the journalist (Haider Al- Basir), learning film entitled (The White stick) with the voice of the child Muhammad Mustafa and the girl, and a success story presented by the students Abdullah Laith and the student Murtadha, in which they talked about their success story and their admission to the Faculty of Medicine.
After which an information item was presented by Dr. Israa, then the wishing box was presented by Dr. Venus. It is about the wishes of the children, in addition to several other items, like yoga, questions and answers, etc.
For his part, the UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, praised all the talents of the children who presented many other musical and artistic activities, stressing that children are the most important part in Iraqi society, and our responsibility towards them is to take care of them that makes them able to serve the community in the best way.
Charitable work, achievements and visits of the Iraqia here team were presented by the director of the team, Eng. Shaima Bahzar.
The celebration concluded with a group picture of all the children and participating.
