The Environment Research Center is holding its cultural season with a lecture on the immunofluorescence technique based on nanoscale gold

The Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology held its cultural season for the year 2022-2023, in the presence of the Director of the Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Riyad Al-Mukhtar, the employees of the center and a number of university teachers.

And the teaching time is Dr. Azhar Mahmoud Halim, a lecture titled “Nano-Gold-based Immunoflow Flow Technique for the Determination of Prenopanoic Acids in Cow’s Milk”.

The researcher showed that the immunoblotting technique based on gold nanoparticles loaded with antigens is an easy, high-sensitivity and inexpensive technique for the detection of organophosphorus pesticide residues in cow's milk.

The researcher concluded that the limit of detection of propionic pesticide in milk samples ranged between (05-100) ng / mg, while the detection time was five minutes.

It is worth noting that this research is very suitable for the investigation of propionic pesticide residues in on-site milk samples without the need for complex analysis equipment.
