UOT attend the opening of the twenty-ninth Arab Engineering Conference
Under the auspices and presence of His Excellency of Prime Minister, Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani, the twenty-ninth Arab Engineering Conference was inaugurated under the slogan
(Information society and advanced technologies in the Arab world)
In December 17-18, 2022 at Gilgamesh Hall in the Babylon Hotel in Baghdad.
The opening session included a speech by the Prime Minister, the President of the Iraqi Engineers Association and the President of Arab Union Engineers.
The University of Technology was represented in the conference by the Assistant President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, and the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Hassan H. Johnny.
The conference included a discussion of many topics and pivots related to smart cities and advanced techniques of communication and information, and exploring advanced techniques of them, which will be discussed in 6 sessions over two days, which will conclude with the closing session and recommendations.
