A computer science student won second place in the Gilgamesh University competition on cybersecurity challenges

Senior Mustafa R. Khalil of computer security and cybersecurity branch in Computer Science Dep. at UOT, won second place in the conference and competition of cybersecurity challenges, which was held by Gilgamesh Private University (19-20 December), under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in cooperation with the Etana Software Solutions team, and in the presence of UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and the Head of Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdul-Hassan.

The competition was a challenge for a penetration tester or a group of penetration testers to solve a set of puzzles and reach the goal.

The competition included a set of challenges of gradual difficulty in digital forensic analysis, programming holes, penetrations and decoding codes, and it is required to find the target called science.
