The President of the University of Technology receives the President of the Iranian Strategic Council

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, received in his office the President of the Iranian Strategic Council, Mr. Kamal Kharazi, and his accompanying delegation, as a first step in strengthening the joint work file in the fields of scientific research and cooperation programs in the majors sought by university institutions on both sides.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and High Studies, Prof. Khawla Salah Khashan, a number of directors of scientific and administrative departments and centers, and a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In his meeting with the Iranian side, the President of the University of Technology stressed the importance of exchanging official visits between the University of Technology and Iranian universities such as Sharif University of Science and Technology as well as Tabriz University, University of Tehran and other universities recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as providing an opportunity for researchers and teachers at the University of Technology To jointly supervise postgraduate students, as well as joint research work with their counterparts in Iranian universities.

The two sides agreed to provide a number of scholarships for those wishing to study in Iranian universities and to work jointly to activate the cooperation mechanism previously signed between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and its Iranian counterpart by activating the ministerial committees formed for this purpose and in various engineering and medical specializations and focus

To develop the work of scientific incubators, Ecosystem, and how to involve industrial companies and others with universities to reach zero unemployment and benefit from the vast Iranian expertise in this field.

The two sides conducted a field visit to the training center and laboratories to see the work of the center and the equipment and machines that the students are trained on.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged souvenirs and agreed to exchange scientific visits very nearly.
