The University sign a twinning agreement with Al-Ma'aqal University

Within the university’s twinning program with other universities inside the country and supporting private universities, the university signed a joint cooperation agreement with Al-Ma'aqal University in Basra to support university education, elevating it and providing the best services to society.

The twinning agreement pivots included teaching through the assistance of faculty members in all engineering and scientific discipline and academic curricula by keeping pace with developments in the curricula taught at both universities and scientific research through publishing joint scientific research in referred international institutions, management and career development, in addition to other pivots.

The agreement was signed between the two parties by Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim Karim, the head of Control and Systems Engineering Department, authorized by the President of the University of Technology and Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohamed Abdul Jabbar, the Dean of Engineering College, authorized by the President of Al-Ma'aqal University.
