The Central Committee of Scientific Promotions hold a workshop about scientific promotions and recent developments

The Central Committee of Scientific Promotions at UOT, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a workshop on scientific promotions and recent developments. The lectures were given by Prof. Dr. Thamir Rashid Saeed, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Mahdi Saleh, Prof. Dr. Hussein Majeed Saleh, and Lec. Dr. Shayma'a Abdul-Ghani Mohammed in the presence of number of heads of committees of scientific promotions and the university departments' rapporteurs'.

The workshop aimed to introduce the most important requirements of scientific promotions and the most important ministerial instructions for promoting lecturers, as well as the publishing mechanism in international journals, in addition to clarifying the application mechanism and administrative path for scientific promotion, scientific promotion activities for scientific specializations, and community service activities.

The updated instructions for scientific promotions included the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
