The Assistant President of the University opens the discussion hall in the Computer Science Department Annex building 

The Assistant President of the University of Technology for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, opened the discussion hall in the Annex building for Computer Science Department with the presence of the Department Head, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, faculty members, and associates.

The head of the Department of Computer Science stated that this hall was rehabilitated with exceptional and personal efforts from the head of the department and its members to match the scientific standing of the department and the university.

The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, expressed his happiness, admiration, and praise for these efforts made, offering his thanks and appreciation to all those responsible for these wonderful achievements, led by the Head of the Computer Science Department, for improving the department’s status at all levels.

The work in the hall included modern equipment and tools to serve as a center for holding conferences, seminars and discussions.

This opening is one of the sustainable development goals that the University of Technology sought to achieve, which is represented by good education, innovation, infrastructure, and partnerships to achieve the goals.

In conclusion, the Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, awarded a shield on this occasion.

It is worth noting that the head of the Computer Science Department had previously launched a campaign aimed at rehabilitating the department’s laboratories and opening the discussion hall.
