A lecturer from Electrical Engineering Department lectures in a course to prepare trainers for teaching methods

Assis. Prof. Dr. Wissam Hassan Ali from Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology participated as a lecturer among a group of experts and trainers from Iraqi universities in the fourth session to prepare trainers for modern teaching methods at the Northern Technical University to prepare a curriculum for modern teaching methods towards blended learning.

He delivered a number of (face to face & online) lectures as part of the course curriculum organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department. The course extended for a month and was hosted by the University of Kufa in Al-Najaf Governorate, the (face to face) lectures keep on for two separate weeks.

During the course, concepts and strategies of teaching and learning processes were discussed in accordance with modern systems supported by e-learning, and enhancing the basics of developing education in Iraqi universities, including those related to the basic concepts of education, educational design, evaluation and assessment , facilitation strategies, developing digital content, and quality of education, career ethics, scientific publishing, and scientific research methodology.
