Computer Science Department organize a workshop on the role of awareness in promoting safety and occupational health

 Computer Science Department at the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled The Role of Awareness in Promoting Safety and Occupational Health in the University Environment. It is delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Suhair Mohammed Zaki, in the presence of Scientific Deputy Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawlood, students and lecturers of the department in the hall of the late Dr. Abbas Fadel.

The workshop dealt with the concept of safety and occupational health, which is represented by the relevant departments and committees for safety and awareness through instructions, training, purchasing equipment, and creating a database attached with regular reports.

Throughout the lecture, it is illustrated that occupational health is the safety of the worker from diseases, including psychological diseases. Among the goals of institutions are the worker, equipment, and the work environment, protecting the human element from work risks, and preserving the components of the physical element for a safe environment within the institution.

The lecture concluded with presenting the scientific deputy a certificate of appreciation for the lecture.
