The University of Technology participate a workshop

  The University of Technology, represented by President Assistant of Scientific Affairs and High Studies, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, a number of department heads, the Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, Prof. Dr. Zainab Nasser Jameel, and the International Classifications Division in the department and the university, participated in the ministerial workshop entitled (Analysis of Scientific Research Indicators for Iraqi Universities and their Impact on the results of the OS classification for specializations 2024), held by the Office of the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs in Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad.

The Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dahd, stressed the importance of refereed scientific publishing in international libraries and in respected international publishing houses within the first and second quarter in Scopus Clarivate containers, due to their impact on international classifications and the standards approved by these classifications, and the importance of activating the entry of the largest number of local journals of Iraqi universities within the global capacity.

During the workshop, which was lectured by the Director of the Quality Assurance Department at the University of Baghdad, he presented precise statistical analyzes of the results of the QS classification of specializations, the results of which were announced a few days ago for all Iraqi universities.
