Computer Science Department discuss a Dissertation
Computer Science Dep. at UOT discuss a dissertation about (Semantic segmentation of medical images using U-shaped deep learning networks).
The dissertation of the student (Mona Kh. Damad) aims to build a system that has the ability to semantically segment of medical images using deep learning techniques, as well as to detect deep fake videos. Three deep learning models of semantic segmentation were proposed, two of which are based on prior training, and the last is based on Training from scratch.
The researcher got very good results in the segmentation of medical images, taking into account the reduction of calculations needed by these models and for three different types of medical images.
